ENGINEERING Maximum precision for every wheel setting is achieved through comprehensive vehicle scanning, mapping over 100 data points around the hub and fender area. These exact measurements feed directly into 3D CAD modeling, where each design undergoes Finite Element Analysis (FEA) testing. This advanced engineering allows us to push spoke concavity to its absolute limits while strictly maintaining full compliance with SAE and TÜV safety standards.
MEASUREMENTS To achieve weight reduction for every wheel, we utilize data from 100 measurement points. We take into account the drop center, vehicle mass estimates, load distribution, precise engineering data, and mounting diameters—all tailored specifically to each vehicle's fitment requirements. By analyzing dynamic weight transfer, caliper clearance envelopes, and suspension geometry, we eliminate unnecessary mass without compromising structural integrity. This meticulous multi-point mapping guarantees a flush, aggressive fitment and optimized unsprung weight for sharper handling, faster acceleration, and superior braking performance.
HAND-FINISHING DEPARTMENT Manual wheel polishing and prep work for painting. Wheels with matte or polished finishes require additional hand-polishing of the wheel surface. This achieves a flawless surface prior to paint application. Our expert artisans meticulously hand-polish, brush, and prep every custom forged wheel to eliminate microscopic imperfections. Whether preparing for high-durability powder coating, liquid paint, or a mirror-like gloss finish, this intensive manual treatment ensures superior paint adhesion, exceptional depth of color, and an immaculate, showroom-ready surface for your bespoke wheel setup.
FINISHING SHOP TDC’s manufacturing facilities offer a wide selection of custom finishes. Our capabilities range from clear-coated polished wheel surfaces to custom powder coating in an extensive spectrum of colors, tailored to every client’s preference. At the final stage of processing, each wheel undergoes a meticulous visual inspection to confirm the highest standard of finish and guarantee that the customer receives a top-tier product. To match your exact aesthetic vision, our state-of-the-art finishing department provides infinite personalization options, including brushed aluminum, multi-stage tinted clears, gloss or satin powder coating, and unique custom color matching. Every bespoke forged wheel undergoes advanced protective clear-coating to ensure long-lasting durability against harsh road elements, brake dust, and UV exposure.
